Oktoberfest 2008 also means big poker live events - PKR.com
Oktoberfest is usually about beer, sauerkraut and bratwurst but for PKR.com players it means poker tournaments and maybe even part of the $270,000 prize pool. PKR.com's 2008 Oktoberfest tourney kicks off tomorrow with 12 events culminating in the $5000 Tournament of Champions, which will be featured on PKR TV. "We’re really excited as this will make our seventh festival on PKR.com," said PKR cardroom manager Neil Wright. "Our players really enjoy them and they keep getting bigger and better as a result. We also try to make sure we cater for everyone, which is reflected in the wide range of events and affordable buy-ins." |
